Dori Iris Zabari
Educator & eLearning Professional
Designing and supporting learning experiences for educators, learners, and the systems they use — so they’re thoughtful, practical, and human.
Putting vision into practice is what I do.
Hi, I’m Dori — I’m glad you’re here.
The big-picture:
I’m an educator and eLearning professional with over 14 years of experience and a master’s degree in anthropology and education. My work is guided by a deep appreciation for the learner’s perspective and a belief that well-designed learning experiences—when grounded in clarity, care, and context—can meaningfully support educators, learners, and the programs they’re part of.
I specialize in designing and supporting learning experiences that are both thoughtful and practical. I’m especially skilled at helping people translate ideas into clear structures, break complex initiatives into manageable steps, and create learning environments that feel supportive, human, and sustainable.
At the core, I’m motivated by work that serves something meaningful. I’m drawn to learning and education efforts that support growth, strengthen systems, and contribute to a more compassionate and connected world. I believe that when we partner together, we can create learning experiences that are far more impactful than any one person could design alone.
A bit more about how I got here:
My perspective is shaped by a multicultural background—I was born in Jerusalem and grew up speaking two languages—which has given me a deep respect for difference, context, and lived experience. This worldview shapes how I approach learning, collaboration, and the relationships at the heart of meaningful educational work.
Early in my career, I was drawn to mentorship and imagined myself becoming a university professor. While completing my graduate studies, I came to see that traditional academic systems often left little room for the relational, learner-led teaching I valued most. That realization led me to pivot from academia and apply my educational background to online and professional learning environments.
Since then, I’ve worked alongside educators, leaders, and mission-driven organizations committed to making a positive impact in their fields. My teaching background continues to inform my work—helping shape ideas into learning experiences, supporting thoughtful program design, and creating space for learners and educators to lead their own growth.
